About the event

Jemar Tisby is an ordained pastor, historian, and author who surveys historical periods in North America from the beginning of slavery to the present. Throughout the survey Tisby shows how the American white church has been complicit in creating and maintaining racism. Yes, racism does exist. No, white America does not “know it all already”.

Our study will examine and discuss the issues brought to life in this book. You may purchase THE COLOR OF COMPROMISE on Amazon for around $20. You do not have to read the book to join our discussion. This study is open to any adult or teen-ager interested in learning the story of racism in the white church in America. You do not have to discuss or read aloud if you do not wish to do so.  You can attend one, two, or all six sessions. Just come and learn.
